We want you to have the time and flexibility to care for Gilbane’s newest family members, so we offer paid family leave to birthing, non-birthing and adoptive parents. Gilbane also offers an extended maternity leave disability benefit for birthing parents.

Gilbane offers a cash benefit for adoptive families, because providing inclusive benefits that support all types of families align with our core values.
IVF & IUI Benefits
Struggling to conceive naturally? IVF might be an option you have considered, but cost is often a barrier. Gilbane’s medical plan covers three IVF cycles per plan year, up to 8 in a member’s lifetime. Our Live Well Program provides items and tools to help you with pregnancy, a new baby and breastfeeding.

VTO Donation
Community service has been an integral part of Gilbane’s culture since our company’s founding and that spirit of caring is so evident in our people. Gilbane is pleased to support that commitment by offering a Volunteer Time Off (VTO) benefit. The VTO benefit provides each employee with four hours of paid time off per year to volunteer with a non-profit organization of their choice.
We Cover Your Pet Too!
Our definition of family includes the ones that walk on all fours too! We offer pet insurance because we know that they give you the joy that you carry with you to work everyday. Have you ever had to pay an expensive vet bill for your pet’s unexpected injury or illness? The My Pet Protection plan through Nationwide can help pet parents cover the costs of those bills. The plan also provides 24/7 access to a vet helpline on the phone, via email or through chat. The plan has a low $250 annual deductible and a $7,500 maximum annual benefit.
