Partnering with Van Auken Akins, Gilbane provided design-build services for the design and construction of 71 individual projects across eight campus locations to upgrade a vast scope of work for Cuyahoga Community College.
Project Overview
- 71 individual projects were completed across eight campus locations and 33 buildings
- Scope of the projects included restroom renovations, flooring replacement, ceiling replacement, roof replacements, building envelope repairs, and more
- Zero lost time and recordable incidents with 62,000 manhours worked
The procurement plan and bid package strategy yielded 90% diverse enterprise participation, exceeding the College’s goal of 30%.
