Named after renowned restaurant owner and Columbus native Cameron Mitchell, Mitchell Hall is a new symbolic front door to the main Columbus State Community College campus.
Project Overview
- The new facility has four, state-of-the-art kitchens, a full-service restaurant and bar with indoor and outdoor seating for 100, and a 450-seat banquet conference center with on-site catering
- The building features a 100-seat culinary theatre and a teaching and innovation kitchen
- The program utilizes farm-to-table food production gardens, part of the new facility
The school’s culinary program is ranked as one of the Top 20 in the United States and the additional space will allow Columbus State to achieve their goal of doubling program enrollment.
