Penthouse infrastructure upgrades delivered on time with savings returned to the client
Gilbane provided construction management services for new office space at 200 Park Avenue. The scope included the relocation of an existing mechanical plant to create premium tenant space on the 58th floor, installation of a curtainwall and new full-height windows on the south facade, and the installation of a new elevator for exclusive service to the 58th floor.
Project Overview
- During preconstruction, the team proposed alternative design selections and developed a GMP to align with the client’s budget
- Precise logistic plans, including vertical movement of workers and materials, were critical for the 58th floor façade installation’s success
- The project was completed on time and 2% of the GMP was returned to the client
