Hudson Yards EDGE: Restaurant and Visitor Experience

Fit out to visitor experience spaces as part of the highest public outdoor observation space in the western hemisphere

Gilbane provided construction management services for the Hudson Yards EDGE, located at 30 Hudson Yards. The program included fit-out of the facility entrance, ticketing, security, experiential rooms, and photography retail spaces, and lounge located on floors three, four and five. In addition, the fit-out of the 100th and 101st floors included a monumental glass staircase, indoor bar, restaurant, flexible public space, retail and various-sized event spaces (ranging from a 12-seat private dining room to a 300-person party room).

Project Overview

The observation deck is located on the 100th floor and extends 65 feet away from the building
Gilbane worked with the base building contractor to ensure successful delivery of the space
Interiors feature top-of-the-line finishes, including leather wall fabric, oxidized brass, international stone, custom-designed lighting fixtures and chandeliers, and architectural wall and ceiling panels
AV/IT installation was completed throughout the interior featuring experiential spaces on the entrance levels, educating and entertaining visitors about the construction and sustainability of Hudson in the elevator lobby.
