$1.5 million saved through innovative purchasing plan
Gilbane provided construction management services for two new schools for Urbana City School District. This project was a critical step to ensure the children in the district have facilities that support academic growth and achievement.
Project Overview
- Construction of a new, 87,000-SF high school housing grades 9-12
- High school houses approximately 480 students
- New PK-8 school spans 180,000 SF
- The PK-8 school houses approximately 1,527 students
- Both schools earned LEED Silver certification
