New PK-8 school features 21st century learning
Gilbane provided construction management at-risk services for the construction of a new PK-8 building for the Liberty-Benton School District. The complete scope of work included the construction of a new elementary/middle school to house grades PK-8 for 1,150 students, totaling 140,000 SF.
Project Overview
- Included the abatement and demolition of the existing K-8 building and the renovation and reprogramming of the existing high school building
- The new school was constructed on the high school campus
- 800-seat new performing arts auditorium
- New synthetic turf football field and track as well as a new a 28,000 SF field house with in-floor heating, a turf field and wall padding and netting
The new PK-8 school provides state-of-the-art learning environments for current and future generations of Liberty-Benton students.
