Gilbane oversaw delivery of more than 20 sports projects in Lake Placid

Through a professional services term consultants’ contract, Gilbane provided construction management services for multiple prime contractors (Wicks Law) projects and assisted ORDA’s Office of Planning and Construction in the execution, performance, and administration of its responsibilities. Gilbane also assisted ORDA with overseeing multiple design-build contracts at ORDA’s facilities. The team faced multiple challenges, including compressed schedules, short construction seasons, labor shortages, and implications created by the COVID-19 pandemic, and was still able to meet the aggressive schedules demanded by event schedules and team needs.
