New Transformative Park on Buffalo’s Waterfront
Gilbane has been selected by the City of Buffalo, the Buffalo Urban Development Corporation (BUDC) and Gardiner & Theobald to provide construction management at-risk services for the reimagining of La Salle Park. The more than 100-acre park is located along Lake Erie and work will include a complete redevelopment of the existing shoreline to provide recreational opportunities for city residents and the local community.

- World-class park amenities will feature soccer fields, baseball and softball diamonds, playground areas, and pedestrian and bike paths
- A new 266-foot pedestrian bridge will be constructed to extend over I-190 to connect the Lower West Side of Buffalo to the renovated park
- Gilbane is teamed with four local M/WBE firms to help execute the work including Sienna Environmental Technologies, 34 Group, Rodriguez Construction Group, and Performance Solutions Services
