Mixed-use development combines affordable, market-rate and senior housing for Long Island City
Gilbane provided construction management services for Go HPS, LLC to construct two mixed-use towers providing affordable housing, senior living facilities, and community facilities to Long Island City residents. Gotham Point South Building F is a 57-story 722,188-SF mixed-use tower with eighty percent of the units reserved for low- and middle-income housing and the remaining 20 percent are for market-rate housing. The remaining 11 stories are reserved for market-rate senior living. Gotham Point South Building G is a 33-story, 330,000-SF, market-rate and affordable mixed-use tower.
Project Overview
- Building G is a 442-unit tower including residential and community spaces
- Exterior spaces include 3,780-SF of ground-level hardscaped perimeter around the south and east sides of the building and three setbacks creating private terraces
- Building F is a mixed-use tower, with residential, retail, and community facilities, a below-grade garage, and below-grade mechanical space
- Amenity spaces include a lounge, fitness center, media room, business center, bicycle storage, and exterior gathering spaces.
