ElevateBio establishes state-of-the-art lab and office space
Gilbane is providing construction management services for the three-phased fit-out project for ElevateBio located within the recently completed 225 Wyman Street Life Sciences Development in Waltham, MA. This space is designed to be a physical foundation point for the company’s future growth. This layout promotes collaboration and interaction while providing flexible production suites for GMP manufacturing, laboratories, and a range of supporting utility and warehouse areas. The facility produces viral vector, cell, and gene therapy along with regenerative medicine for clinical purposes.
Project Overview
- The newly designed lab/office space transformed a raw core and shell space into state-of-the-art laboratories and a vivarium space
- Offices, a reception area, conference rooms, and a café with a seating area
- The project’s infrastructure includes the installation of all laboratory utilities, including compressed air, lab gases, RODI Water, steam humidification systems, and an emergency generator
