National telecommunications client’s capital construction program in multiple states

Gilbane is providing general construction services under a multi-year master alliance agreement to manage a multi-site program with 2,000+ projects planned annually across the country. The work includes co-location programs, DSL implementation support, and national expansion projects critical to deregulating the telecommunication industry. All projects require extensive planning and preparation by Gilbane to ensure that no project experiences an FCC reportable outage, a commitment Gilbane has upheld throughout the program.

Project Overview

Managing a multi-year master alliance agreement in several states across the country, including California, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin, West Virginia, and Washington D.C.
Representative projects include expansions, renovations and retrofitting of existing facilities to meet the client’s evolving facility needs and range in size from small repair jobs to multimillion dollar expansions
Gilbane’s services include design review, estimating, scheduling and trade contract buyout, coordination with trades and client departments, payment processing, change negotiation, construction oversight of local trade contractors, and project controls
More than 15,000 individual facility projects have been completed to date, totaling more than $1.5 billion in constructed value over the life of the program
