Project Overview

  • Compact urban apartments, affordable as rental units for the Sarasota Opera along with dancers and/or actors from both Sarasota Contemporary Dance and The Player’s Theater groups
  • 34,000-SF of quality retail/office/arts space, 3,000-SF of which is occupied by Solstice Planning and Architecture, a well-renown local architecture firm
  • 7,000-SF urban town square creating a lively outdoor focal point with an art sculpture for the residents, businesses and the public

The Gilbane team worked with the Architect and Owner to change the original specified LVT flooring to an LVT flooring with an integrated underlayment layer as part of the flooring project. This eliminated the single underlayment materials and labor creating a significant savings and expedited flooring installation.
