Military Family Housing Renovations at Camp Lester

Design-build Phase II renovations to camp Lester’s Military Family Housing continue the fast-track success of Gilbane’s Phase I services

Gilbane has performed $38 million in comprehensive design-build upgrades to military family housing at Camp Lester in Okinawa, Japan. This significant renovation effort addressed 329,000-SF of living space in 221-housing units across 25-buildings and included hazardous waste abatement followed by replacement of roofing systems, kitchen and bathroom fixtures and finishes, windows, interior and exterior doors, as well as electrical building systems and telecommunication and community access television (CATV) systems.
