Townie Pride shines through East Providence High School
Gilbane provided construction management services for this intensive, multi-phase project. Aside from traditional features found in every high school, the team created a diverse, multi-fuctional facility. This includes elements such as a Career and Technical Center (CTC) which houses an automotive space, broadcasting area and various laboratories. Due to strategic and comprehensive phasing, classes were able to remain in session throughout the construction process.
Project Overview
- Features a full-service kitchen to accommodate food service needs for the entire school district
- New facility is home to District administrative office spaces
- Maintained site safety and accessibility for students, staff, and visitors
- Once the new school was occupied, the existing school was demolished to provide space for new driveways, parking, and athletic fields. The project scope also included abatement services
