Admiral Farragut Academy New Performing Arts Center
Building a Performing Arts wing within an active Private School setting
Our team managed construction of Deseta Hall, the new performing arts center for Admiral Farragut Academy in St. Petersburg, Florida. The academy is a college-preparatory, private school which offers education for students from Pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. Throughout the project, we placed special emphasis on minimizing disruptions to students, faculty, staff, and on-going operations while working in an active school.
Project Overview
- Deseta Hall features a 302-seat auditorium with a retractable seating system and also encompasses an administrative wing with classrooms, audio-visual rooms and art-specific studios which serve as the home for the music and the arts programs
- New performing arts center provided an enhanced academic and communal experience for its faculty, administration and student body
- Features included large and small conference rooms, equipped with the latest audio-visual technology, a workroom and a break room with a kitchenette.
Gilbane places special emphasis on minimizing disruptions to students, faculty, staff, and on-going operations while working on an active pre-kindergarten through 12th grade.
