Gilbane Building Company Names Tyler Swartzwelder Washington, DC Business Leader
In his new role, Mr. Swartzwelder is responsible for client satisfaction, safety, project performance, and recruitment and retention throughout the DC metro area. Since starting at Gilbane in 2005, Mr. Swartzwelder has worked on projects that span multiple markets including education, healthcare, commercial office, cultural, and historic renovation. He has built deep relationships within the Washington, DC market through his leadership on projects like the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (Metro) DC Headquarters, the General Services Administration (GSA) U.S. Diplomacy Center Pavilion, and Arlington Public Schools, The Heights Building. Mr. Swartzwelder received his B.A.E. in architectural engineering from Pennsylvania State University and is a LEED® Accredited Professional and a certified Design-Build Professional® (DBIA®).
