One of the fastest growing areas in the U.S., Columbia, SC is an ideal place for business and is attracting new business in the manufacturing, research, and high-tech markets. Our experience with complex facilities includes the recently completed South Carolina State Museum, with the only 4D Theater in the state and state-of-the-art planetarium, which included a 75,000 sf renovation and expansion offering cutting edge STEM education to the public. Our team handled the complex construction and installation of the observatory and large Avlan Clark refractor. The University of South Carolina Discovery Plaza laboratory building included biomedical wet and dry labs with associated research support space and the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business.
As the area continues to see fast-paced growth and an influx of new businesses it will also bring workers and their families. Capital investment is also expected to increase to meet the new demands on higher education, K-12 schools, healthcare and senior living facilities to accommodate the budding population.
