The Standard at Philadelphia is an apartment community that offers upscale finishes, including gourmet kitchens, quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, hardwood-style laminate floors, and large closets. Floor plans range from studios to six-bedroom units. Community amenities include a fitness center, an elevated pool and hot tub deck, a sauna, computer labs, a study lounge, a clubhouse, a grill station, and a gaming lounge.
Project Overview
- 802-bed purpose-built student housing community
- 3,000 SF of retail space on the ground level
- Existing five-story building was demolished
- Under Gilbane’s mentorship, Pride Enterprises Incorporated (PEI) managed the interior fit-out and finish trades for the project
Gilbane has been a great partner in our ability to monitor vibration and coordinate activities including advanced pilot testing for potential impacts. Proactive communications and weekly meetings to understand 4-week look ahead and ongoing communications were keys to success. Their team was responsive and adaptable at every step to ensure that all research teams were aware of every step and that there was ample notice provided to ensure expectations were established prior to implementation.
