A new housing community purpose-built to attract students from local colleges and universities to serve the increased demand for student housing
Gilbane Development Company developed The Current on two parcels of land totaling 8.23 acres located in Pomona, CA. The four-story development includes 177 apartment-style residential units ranging in size from studio to five-bedroom. The units are fully furnished (including smart TV in the living area) and offer private bathrooms, large closets, in-unit washer/dryer, full-size stainless kitchen appliances, and high-speed internet (included in the monthly rent).

- Pet-friendly features include a fenced dog park immediately adjacent to an indoor dog wash equipped with a commercial quality dog sink and grooming table with dryer
- While the location of the development provides for easy pedestrian, bicycle and/or vehicle connection to the university, residents also have the benefit of a shuttle service to campus
