Develop a new housing community purpose-built to attract students from local colleges and universities to serve the increased demand for student housing
Gilbane Development Company is developing The Current on two parcels of land totaling 8.23-acres located 1.4-miles from the Cal Poly Pomona campus. The four-story development includes 177 apartment style residential units ranging in size from studio to five-bedroom. The units will be fully furnished (including smart TV in living area) and offer private bathrooms, large closets, in-unit washer/dryer, full-size stainless kitchen appliances, and high-speed internet (included in the monthly rent).

- Among the closest off-campus student housing options for Cal Poly Pomona University
- While the location of the development provides for easy pedestrian, bicycle and/or vehicle connection to the university, residents will also have the benefit of a shuttle service to campus
