Nathan Deal Judicial Center
New, iconic, multi-story judicial complex
Gilbane provided construction management services for the new, multi-story judicial complex. The building is six-stories high and includes 50 below-grade parking spaces as well as approximately 200 spaces of surface parking. Located in the heart of downtown Atlanta across from the state capitol, this building relates back to the architectural legacy of Atlanta.
Project Overview
- Judicial complex houses the State of Georgia’s Supreme Court and Court of Appeals as well as other related court agencies and judicial functions
- Includes two large courtrooms and their public lobbies, chamber for the Justices and Judges, offices and meeting rooms for the two courts and support spaces for staff
- Gilbane imploded the former 14-story Archives Building to make way for the new Judicial Center
