Tonya Byrd Joins Gilbane Building Company to Expand Business Development Strategies in Georgia

Byrd Brings Strategic Experience, Local Knowledge and Relationships to Gilbane’s Growing Building Portfolio

Atlanta, Georgia – January 6, 2022 – Gilbane Building Company is pleased to announce the addition of Tonya Byrd (formerly Tonya Jackson), as a Business Development Manager in the Atlanta office. Tonya brings twenty-five years of sales and industry experience developing influential relationships and delivering value. In her new role, she will work closely with operations to enhance and expand client relationships, as well as gain market share in select public and private sectors.

Tonya has spent her entire career in the Georgia market doing business development. She is focused on client relationships, tracking new markets, industry trends and securing sales growth and client satisfaction.

Tonya is an active volunteer of several industry organizations including, University of West Georgia Foundation (Board of Trustees), Douglas County Education Foundation (Board of Directors / DEI Committee), Douglas County Schools Partners in Education (Board of Directors), Wellstar Hospital Authority Board (Board Member), Association of General Contractors (National Business Development Forum).

Tonya attended Georgia State University as a marketing major.
