Gilbane Building Company awarded Adlai E. Stevenson High School District 125 east building addition project

Located in Lincolnshire, Illinois, the 55,000 SF, four-story east building addition project consists of classrooms, science labs, multi-purpose space, a greenhouse, green roof areas, and common areas including a two-story living wall.

The building is a net zero energy, all-electric project and all electricity will be generated from photovoltaic arrays mounted on the roofs of the addition and the existing building.

Gilbane has been performing as construction manager at-risk for Adlai E. Stevenson High School District 125 for 25 years. A $30 million project, construction is set to begin in fall 2017 and be completed in spring of 2019.
