District 128 to start $30 million in expansion projects at Libertyville, Vernon Hills high schools

More than $30 million in expansion projects could begin at Libertyville and Vernon Hills high schools as early as April, school officials said recently.

The bulk of the work will happen at Vernon Hills High School, where officials at Community High School District 128 have planned to add another gymnasium and larger cafeteria, as well as eight new classrooms and a STEM lab to accommodate population growth. Read more here.
