
Geoff Eisenacher
Vice President of Development
Geoffrey Eisenacher is a Vice President of Development at Gilbane Development, where he coordinates all phases of campus engagement, program development, and partnership delivery, in addition to research and identification of strategic partnerships that support the company’s expansion and growth. With more than 29 years of experience in public-private partnerships, higher education, student housing, and campus infrastructure, Geoff has been involved in more than $3.5 billion in student housing development, acquisition, and operations for institutions across the U.S.
His leadership was instrumental in Gilbane Development being selected by Eastern Michigan University for a 35-year, $212 million campus housing modernization initiative, where he led all development and financial structuring and continues to oversee operational management. Geoff also leads active projects at Purdue University Fort Wayne, Palm Beach Atlantic University, the University of Idaho, the University of Rhode Island, and the University of South Carolina, expanding Gilbane’s footprint in higher education partnerships nationwide.
Before joining Gilbane in 2019, Geoff led the creation of several groundbreaking P3s to design, build, renovate and manage student housing for the University System of Georgia (involving nine campuses) and Wayne State University, and led other higher education projects. Geoff is a licensed real estate broker in Texas. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and business administration from Ohio University.
