Enhanced Matching Gift Program

Giving back to the communities where we live and work has always been core to who we are at Gilbane. In September, leadership announced that Gilbane will now match 100% of all charitable contributions (up to $4,000) made by employees each year through our new Workplace Giving Program. This new match doubles Gilbane’s previous matching gift program. It also expands eligibility to all registered 501(c)(3) charitable organizations, enabling our people to donate to the charities that are most meaningful to them.

The New Workplace Giving Platform

This new platform, powered by Fidelity Investments, is a one-stop shop for employees to find ways to give back within their communities through charitable donations and volunteer opportunities. Employees can make donations directly on the platform, and the site also makes volunteering easier. Gilbane offers a Volunteer Time Off (VTO) benefit that provides each employee with four hours of PTO annually to volunteer, and employees can now use the tool to search for Gilbane-sponsored activities such as Rebuilding Together, ACE Mentor Program, Canstruction, etc., or find unique volunteer opportunities in their local area.

ESG Commitment

An essential element of our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) efforts is building social impact and helping our communities thrive. While our business involves strengthening the communities around us through infrastructure, our goal is to improve those communities through volunteerism, giving, and meaningful partnerships. With the enhanced Workplace Giving Program as part of our benefits offering – our employees’ passion for giving back to the organizations they care about will be multiplied by Gilbane’s renewed commitment.
