We care. We ally. We unite.

We care. Our workplace culture within Gilbane is built on core values, one of which is Caring.  Gilbane Cares is more than words.  It means we embrace a philosophy about caring for others.  Our genuine respect for others drives our focus on diversity, community involvement, safety, the environment and most importantly, our inclusive culture.  We stand up against systemic racism, oppression and inequality. We know we have work to do.  We are a pillar in the construction industry, which has traditionally not been a diverse workplace.  Our allies make up most of our population, and we need allies to take action in order to influence change.  We have the power and resources to impact change for the better.

We ally.  Gilbane has six employee resource groups.  We build community, provide support and contribute to personal and professional development in our workplace.  And we want to do more.  We are taking action to unite resources with others for mutual benefit.  In this time of unprecedented need for unity across our world, we want to share our ideas with you.  These ideas may inspire others to stand up for change and support causes in meaningful ways.

We unite.  We are bringing our resources together to engage and share ways to be a better ally. And offer how we have used allies to support our missions.  Over the next few weeks, we will publish the thoughts, actions and impacts that each of our employee resource groups are doing in a special Gilbane Ink series.   We have included a summary of each group and schedule below.

Join us in action.
