New Project Announcement : JP-5 Fuel Tank Closures, Base Coronado, CA

Gilbane was awarded a $2.3 million project to provide tank closures for three underground tanks and removal of one aboveground jet fuel tank. Demolition of associated piping and support facilities are also part of the scope.

The project serves as part of a multi-phased effort by Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) to replace fuel storage facilities and pipelines, ensuring Navy aircraft have modern and reliable fueling support for the foreseeable future.
