Gilbane Development Company grows multifamily division in Florida

ORLANDO, FL – (May 31, 2018) – Gilbane Development Company announced today the expansion of its multifamily development division with the addition of Dwayne Walker as Development Manager. Mr. Walker will focus on managing and expanding Gilbane’s multifamily development initiatives in Central, South, and Northern Florida areas, and will split his time between Gilbane’s offices in Orlando and Boca Raton.

Dwayne has over 25 years’ experience in development, entitlements, finance, construction and asset management of over 10,000 multifamily and single family units in seventeen states. He also has experience in commercial and healthcare development. Dwayne has worked as a senior development manager for multiple national developers and investors, and brings financing expertise including equity, tax-exempt bond financing, HUD/FHA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, CMBS and private lenders. He has a BSCE with a major in structural engineering from West Virginia University.
