Alicia Dupies Joins Gilbane as Area Manager of the Milwaukee Office, Responsible for Expanding Gilbane’s Presence in Southeast Wisconsin

Milwaukee, Wisconsin – January 2022 – Gilbane Building Company announced that it has expanded its leadership team in Milwaukee to support continued growth in Southeast Wisconsin, naming Alicia Dupies as Area Manager and promoting several key team members. Under the leadership and vision of Adam Jelen, Executive Vice President, Gilbane Building Company has grown into one of the leading builders in Southeast Wisconsin.

Gilbane’s Milwaukee leadership team includes the following highly seasoned building professionals. The team is currently working on high-profile, transformative projects in the region such as the Wisconsin Center Expansion and other highly customized projects for clients across diverse sectors in Southeast Wisconsin including corporate, high-rise developments, industrial, food and beverage, education, hospitality and municipal.

Alicia Dupies Named Area Manager, Milwaukee

Alicia Dupies has joined Gilbane as the Area Manager of the Milwaukee office. Alicia comes to Gilbane with more than 20 years of architectural, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry experience and a focus on driving client satisfaction, community partnerships, and developing high-performing teams. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Alicia is engaged in various organizations in the Milwaukee community. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Carmen Schools of Science & Technology, a high-performing urban charter school. In addition, Alicia is the Research Committee co-chair for the Wisconsin Policy Forum and the Program Chair for TEMPO Milwaukee.

Gilbane has promoted several team members to key leadership roles to enhance its presence in Southeast Wisconsin. Mary Collins, Laura Hause and Vincent Senese are promoted to project executives, and Erik Lindstrom has been elevated to a senior manager of business development.

Mary Collins has spent her 19-year career working on complex construction projects focusing on the healthcare and public market sectors. Mary has led the Milwaukee City Hall Foundation Restoration project for several years, including site investigation, a foundation system study and a custom design solution to restore the foundation. Mary is a graduate of Marquette University and a LEED Accredited Professional. She was recently honored at The Daily Reporter’s 2021 Women in Construction awards and named Senior Project Manager of the Year in 2019 by The Daily Reporter.

Laura Hause is a 16-year construction leader with significant experience partnering with clients in various market sectors, including Schreiber Foods, Waukesha County Courthouse and Carroll University. Laura is a graduate of Milwaukee School of Engineering. She was recognized by Milwaukee Business News as a 2020 Notable Women in Construction and Design and named 2016 Team Leader of the Year by The Daily Reporter.

With 11 years of industry experience, Vincent Senese has humbly built his career focusing on quality construction and client satisfaction. His construction experience spans various market sectors with key projects for St. Camillus, Schlitz Park, ProHealth Care Inc., Milwaukee County Zoo and Discovery World. Vincent is a graduate of Illinois State University and was named Project Manager of the Year in 2020 by The Daily Reporter.

Erik Lindstrom is a seasoned business development professional with 17 years of experience. Erik brings a unique set of skills, combining his technical expertise with relationship building and a client-focused approach. Erik will continue to lead our business development strategy in Southeast Wisconsin and build capacity for our growing employee base and the larger Milwaukee community. Erik is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee.
