Robert J. Murray
Chief Financial Officer
Robert Murray joined Gilbane, Inc. in early 2022 as chief financial officer. In his role, Bob is responsible for the combined Gilbane Building Company and Gilbane Development Company entities on a financial basis. He will provide financial leadership as Gilbane executes against strategic plans for profitable growth and new investments.
Bob joins Gilbane, Inc. with 30 years of significant financial executive experience in real estate investment and management. He has worked in financial and accounting leadership positions throughout his 40-year career and has directed global financial planning and forecasting processes.
Before Gilbane, Bob served as executive vice president of finance for The Procaccianti Companies, a privately held investment and management company with a broad national platform encompassing all real estate sectors. As executive vice president, Bob was responsible for The Procaccianti Companies’ finance, accounting, and tax-related matters within the company’s hotel, marina, development, and construction departments. Earlier in his career, Bob was the senior director of finance for BearingPoint, Inc. (formerly KPMG Consulting), a $3.5 billion in revenue global consulting corporation in Foxboro, Massachusetts.
Bob is currently a member of the board of trustees of Navigant Credit Union, former chairman of the Navigant Credit Union Supervisory Committee, former member of the board of trustees for the North Cumberland Fire District in Cumberland, RI, and a former adjunct professor in accounting at Brown University.
Bob earned his Master of Business Administration from Babson College and a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Providence College.
