Christie B. Kelly
Christie B. Kelly recently retired after serving as the Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Realty Income Corporation (NYSE: O), the preeminent net lease REIT, and serving on the board of directors. During her tenure at Realty Income, the company doubled in market capitalization and revenue, achieved record acquisition volume each year while growing internationally, and successfully integrated significant mergers. In addition, Ms. Kelly further developed the financial leadership team and effectively carried out leadership development planning, which included successful succession planning.
Prior to her appointment as Chief Financial Officer of Realty Income in January 2021, Ms. Kelly served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (NYSE: JLL), a professional services company providing commercial real estate and investment management services worldwide. During her tenure at JLL from July 2013 until she retired from her position in September 2018, the firm’s revenue doubled through organic growth and 70 acquisitions. She also achieved sustained improvement in JLL’s investment-grade balance sheet and steered major technology enhancements in the global finance platform.
With over 35 years of global financial and real estate experience, Ms. Kelly’s career began in the financial management program with General Electric (GE). Her experience at GE spanned over 24 years and included executive leadership positions for supply chain management for GE Capital Technology Solutions, global quality oversight as a Six Sigma leader for GE Capital Fleet Services, financial leadership roles in Europe and Asia Pacific as well as directorship for business development and mergers and acquisitions for GE Real Estate. After leaving GE, she joined Lehman Brothers as senior vice president of their global real estate group and subsequently served as executive vice president and chief financial officer for Duke Realty Corporation during the company’s transformation to an industrial REIT before joining JLL.
Ms. Kelly obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. She currently holds board positions with Park Hotels & Resorts, Inc. (NYSE: PK) and Kite Realty Group Trust (NYSE:KRG). Her community involvement experience includes serving on the advisory board of directors for Bucknell University with a focus on developing future real estate leaders through completion of a real estate minor.
