The Hall at Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland
The Hall at Live! is one of the largest performance venues in the State of Maryland
Gilbane provided preconstruction and construction management at-risk services for the 70,000 SF expansion of the performing arts events center at Maryland Live! Casino & Hotel. The project included reusing the post-tensioned concrete parking deck located between the existing event space and the casino and re-purposing it into a high-end entertainment superstructure to accommodate 4,500+ patrons for concerts, special events, and conventions.
Project Overview
- The expansion doubled the size of the meeting and banquet space, including a large ballroom equipped to seat more than 4,500 people
- The third level houses VIP suites for guests along with dressing rooms for performers
- The expansion project includes high-end modifications to the casino, three passenger elevators, and a gorgeous glass and steel staircase to the mezzanine
- Constructed on top of an existing post-tensioned parking structure and adjacent to a 24-hour operational casino
