Purdue University, Hagle Hall
A world-class home for Purdue’s bands and orchestras
Hagle Hall provides Purdue University’s bands and orchestras with a purpose-built facility designed for performance and collaboration. Serving as construction manager at-risk, Gilbane delivered rehearsal halls with advanced acoustics, flexible learning spaces, and sustainable features. The building achieved LEED v4 Gold certification, reflecting Purdue’s commitment to innovation and environmental responsibility.
Project Overview
- Purpose-built spaces designed for band and orchestra programs
- Flexible 4,000 SF hall for shared academic and rehearsal use
- Advanced acoustic engineering with sound isolation and separation
- LEED v4 Gold certification for sustainable design; Design celebrates Purdue’s musical legacy while enhancing the student experience
“[Gilbane’s] dedication to the project and client was superb, demonstrated by a continual “How or where else can we help?” mentality. They performed admirably on their task of delivering this facility on time and on budget, but the above and beyond support I received separated them from other contractors.”
