Comprehensive new high school features CTE programs
Gilbane is serving as construction manager for the new 165,000 SF comprehensive high school, situated on a 40-acre site. The new facility is configured to integrate the existing career and technical education programs and traditional high school spaces.
Project Overview
- With a 755-student capacity, the new school will be constructed adjacent to the existing, operational high school, which must remain accessible by vehicles and pedestrians at all times during construction
- Upon occupancy of the new high school, the existing vacated school will be demolished to allow for the development of new driveways, parking areas and landscaped areas
- The project scope includes any abatement and demolition services required to complete the work
