Nationwide Children’s Hospital Livingston Ambulatory and Structured Parking
New Children’s Hospital provides holistic healthcare services to the community
Gilbane, in association with Smoot Construction, served as construction manager for the Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Livingston Ambulatory Center (LAC). The six-story, 212,000 SF LAC houses ambulatory clinics, associated faculty offices and staff support space, central registration, reception and waiting areas, storage, ancillary support including receiving/trash docks, MEP and IT, and related offices, service, and support spaces.
Project Overview
- Clinics include adolescent medicine, behavioral health, center for healthy weight and nutrition, dental, and primary care
- Developmental behavioral pediatrics, FACES clinic (HIV maintenance), adolescent medicine, teen pregnancy clinic, and outpatient pharmacy
- Rehabilitation and sports medicine gym, community meeting rooms, allergy/dermatology, psychology, employee fitness/wellness/massage, and pandemic supply storage
- Gilbane was also responsible for constructing the adjacent, nine-story, 350,000 SF cast-in-place parking facility to service the new medical office building
The new Livingston Ambulatory Center provides additional care for the Downtown and South Side communities and the opportunity for Nationwide Children’s Hospital to provide care to a child who may not be able to receive that care in a smaller town.
