Inova Mount Vernon Hospital, Veatch Family Behavioral Health Unit
Phased construction approach minimizes disruption at Inova Mount Vernon Hospital
Gilbane renovated the behavioral health unit at the Inova Mount Vernon Hospital (IMVH) while the hospital remained open and occupied. The 20,000-SF behavioral health wing renovation included architectural, mechanical, plumbing, and pneumatics upgrades. Concurrently, Gilbane built a long-term acute care (LTAC) unit at the IMVH. Gilbane has also been providing preconstruction services for the study of Inova’s Eastern Region, which included cost estimating, site logistics, and scheduling.
