Gilbane provided design-build services to deliver a replacement dormitory for students for the Gregg Hall Dorm Replacement project at the Florida School for the Deaf & Blind Middle School.
Project Overview
- The existing Gregg Hall building was demolished to construct the new two-story building
- The new dormitory consists of 24 individual dorm rooms
- The scope of work included design and construction services to deliver a building that fits within the historic campus architecture
- Incorporated building practices sensitive to working on an active campus with students who are deaf/hard of hearing, blind/visually impaired, or deafblind
