Franklin County Corrections Center
New facility utilizes direct supervision model leading to better behavior outcomes and reduced recidivism
Gilbane and its joint venture partner provided construction management agency services for the new 429,000-SF corrections center. The new facility is located on a 24-acre greenfield site. It includes a central utility plant, special housing for inmates with mental health or behavioral needs, a medical clinic, a 300-person orientation unit, and a 275-car parking garage. The new center has the infrastructure and support space to house 2,600 beds.

- New 163,000-SF, 426-bed addition to the existing corrections center also included in the project
The new Franklin County Corrections Center spans 24 acres with infrastructure to support 2,600 beds, focusing on providing safe, specialized housing for residents.
