Fast-track data center project completed at hyperspeed

Gilbane provided construction management services for the construction of a data center core and shell with a powered base building (PBB) infrastructure to support future tenants. Constructed with a steel frame and architectural precast veneer, the building houses five data suites. Each data suite includes provisions for redundant power including medium voltage switchgear/transformers, interruptible power supplies (UPS) and power distribution units (PDU).

A generator room located on the ground floor provides provisions for eight generators dedicated to providing emergency power
A series of Computer Room Air Handling Units (CRAH) located within a mechanical gallery inside each suite provide cooling
Each CRAH unit was equipped with an economization unit to allow each CRAH unit to utilize the cool air in winter to reduce energy costs
