JV Team tripled capacity of one of the largest, technologically advanced breweries in the world

The joint venture of Gilbane Alberici Construcciones Mexico (GACM) provided construction management and general contracting services for the expansion of Constellation Brand’s brewery in Nava, Mexico. The project tripled the existing plant’s capacity and included a new brewery building, packaging building, warehouses, site expansion, rail line expansion, water and wastewater plant expansions, and the expansion of the cogeneration plant and utilities.

This brewery produces Corona Extra, Corona Light, Modelo Especial, Negras Modelo, Pacifico and Victoria brands

Gilbane served as a construction manager in an agency role to manage the architect/engineer, brewery process vendor, and packaging/warehouse vendors
Gilbane also served as the general contractor for the delivery of the buildings, rail line expansion, water and wastewater plant expansions, and expansion of the cogeneration plant and utilities.
