Bank of America’s New 600 Parking Structure
New parking garage features 1,435 spaces and EV charging stations
Gilbane provided design-build services for the new, six-level parking garage with 1,435 spaces. This four-bay, open precast concrete structure features two internal ramps. The garage offers 1,173 covered spaces and 28 new accessible spaces, primarily on the ground floor, with a minimum vertical clearance of 98 inches to accommodate four van-accessible spaces. Additionally, it includes 10 EV charging stations on the second level, with infrastructure on the third level for future expansion.
Project Overview
- The ramps are designed in a scissor-like configuration, allowing easy navigation up and down from both ends of the garage
- The ground floor offers a minimum vertical clearance of 98 inches for van-accessible spaces, and the ramps have a gentle slope of around 5% to 4.4% for easy navigation
- The garage includes 10 EV charging stations on the second level and infrastructure on the third level for future expansion of EV charging capabilities
