Gilbane provided construction management services for 111 Olive, a historic three-story building thoughtfully reimagined to feature 27,000 SF of boutique office space and an additional 15,000 SF of elevated retail space. The century-old building faced a multitude of complex structural improvements and unforeseen conditions, making 111 Olive a one-of-a-kind project that took a special team to successfully complete.
Project Overview
- Located on the critical corner of Clematis Street and North Olive Avenue in downtown West Palm Beach, is one of the most pedestrian-activated streets in the country
- Constructed in 1936 and registered as a national historic landmark, the project team encountered numerous unforeseen conditions and many unique situations while renovating the nearly century-old building
- Flawlessly designed as a Class-A, boutique office building, the project boasts numerous custom features including original Dade County Pine floors and ceilings, 25-foot column grids, and 14-foot ceilings
- A state-of-the-art golf simulator suite that includes advanced TrackMan technology is available to building tenants
