Karrie is one of the youngest Vice President’s within the company, manages field operations for Gilbane’s Connecticut Business Unit, handling a portfolio of $200 million in construction contracts.
“In Karrie’s 17-plus years in the Connecticut construction market she has left her mark on many projects and people as a true professional who is dedicated to the constant improvement of herself, her peers, and the industry as a whole,” notes John Hawley, Vice President and CT Business Unit Leader. “Karrie has inspired many of her peers and coworkers with her work ethic, while carefully balancing a successful career, dedication to the local community, and life as a wife and mother. We are proud of Karrie and look forward to her continued growth and leadership expanding our presence in Connecticut.”
In addition to her extraordinary career advancements and raising her two young daughters, Karrie is also devoted to her community. She is a Mentor Committee Member for the National Association of Professional Women in Construction (PWC of CT) which reflects her passion for expanding opportunities for women in the construction industry. She also spends many hours focusing on the educational market sector of the industry in which she works to create programs within local communities that offer career options, educational and mentoring opportunities to young adults. Through these programs, her hope is to inspire them to find a passion for building just as she did.
