Jeff Hutchison Honored with Gilbane’s Core Values Award
Gilbane’s Jeff Hutchison Received Core Values Award
Cleveland, OH – May 31, 2018 – Jeff Hutchison, senior project executive was recognized at Gilbane’s annual Business Unit dinner on May 24th as the 2018 recipient of the Greg Honzo Core Values Award. This award was instituted in Greg’s name to honor an Ohio employee who illustrates Gilbane’s Core Values in their professional and personal lives and who continually exceeds expectations through their dedicated service to the company.
Based in Gilbane’s Cleveland office, Jeff Hutchison has been in the construction industry for 25 years and joined the Gilbane team in 1999. Jeff’s experience with Gilbane includes more than eight million SF and $1.1 billion of work in place. Jeff is an industry veteran who exemplifies honor and integrity in every aspect of his life. One of Jeff’s strengths is his ability to build lasting client relationships. Some of his key projects include Kent State University College of Architecture and Environmental Design, Kent State University Tri-Tower Residence Halls, Cleveland Museum of Art Phase I and II, Cleveland State University Recreation Center, Mansfield City School District, OSFC Galion City Schools and Western Reserve Local School District.
“Something that really resonates with me about Jeff and one of his greatest strengths is that I don’t know anyone who builds a client relationship like him. It’s just extraordinary,” said Tom Laird, Gilbane Executive Vice President. “One of the things I admire most about Jeff is that you tell him to get something done, and it just gets done. You don’t hear anything about it, and he comes back and says I took care of it.”
The Core Values Award was created to honor Greg Honzo who was a project executive in Ohio and loyally served Gilbane for more than 25 years. Greg passed away in September 2007 after a three-year battle with breast cancer.
