Gilbane Building Company hosts golf tournament to support North Carolina charities
The money raised at Gilbane’s second annual North Carolina golf tournament will support local organizations fighting homelessness in the Triangle
Raleigh, NC – October 30, 2018 – Gilbane Building Company recently held its second annual Gilbane Cares Charity Golf Tournament at the Loonie Poole Golf Course in Raleigh, NC. More than 120 golfers joined Gilbane to help raise $50,000 for local North Carolina charities including The Raleigh/Wake Partnership to End and Prevent Homelessness and Rebuilding Together of the Triangle.
“At Gilbane we are about building more than buildings,” said Paul Sullivan, Gilbane Building Company Vice President and North Carolina Business Unit Leader. “We have witnessed firsthand the incredible work these two charities do to support our community. With this donation, we hope to aid their missions to prevent and end homelessness in our community.”
The North Carolina Business Unit, located in Raleigh, NC, chooses charities each year to benefit from their annual charity golf tournament. The charities are chosen based on their impact to the community and their alignment with Gilbane’s core values. The charities for 2018 are:
The Raleigh/Wake Partnership to End and Prevent Homelessness is a service system that works through the power of partnerships and collaboration to end and prevent homelessness in the area.
Rebuilding Together of the Triangle provides low-income homeowners in the Triangle with safe and healthy homes for their families.
