width=Construction is underway for the new Racine facility

Racine, Wisconsin – April 29, 2019 – Officials from the Wisconsin Humane Society and Gilbane Building Company recently came together to celebrate the official groundbreaking ceremony for the new Racine facility of the Wisconsin Human Society.

As design-builder for this exciting project, Gilbane is partnering with Kubala Washatko Architects to build the shelter facility that will be a new home for animals of all kinds located in Racine, Wisconsin. The new one-story building will provide animal housing and veterinary services similar to a hospital, along with educational space and outdoor play areas. The project will incorporate many high-performance systems as it operates 24/7.
