“We excited to be awarded this unique high school project.” Said Robert Hayes, Vice President Gilbane Building Company, “The school district has designed this school with sectors specifically tailored to using advanced technology in a 21st century learning environment and a focus on supporting science and engineering, which will have positive impact on students and faculty.”
The new high school will be located on an approximately 74-acre site off Boggy Creek Road in Kissimmee, Florida. Construction of the building will consist of concrete tilt wall panels, steel structure and low slope flat roofs. It is anticipated to open for the August 2018 school year.
