Massachusetts Business Unit of Gilbane Appoints 35-year Industry Veteran to Top Operations Role

 width=BOSTON, MA –July 9, 2019 – As part of its New England growth strategy and vision, Gilbane Building Company is pleased to announce that Andrew Prochniak has been promoted to vice president, operations manager in Massachusetts. With over 35 years in the construction business, Prochniak joined Gilbane in 2006 and since that time he has served as a strong leader on many challenging assignments in Massachusetts and Northern New England, including PTC, Northeastern University, Digital Realty, Tufts University, EMC/Dell, Fidelity Investments, Wyeth/Pfizer, Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art and others.

A master of highly technical project delivery, Prochniak has completed a diverse portfolio of complex projects such as clean rooms, data centers, laboratories, proton technology/cancer centers, large campus developments and precast structures/parking garages. A strong client advocate, he has developed long lasting relationships with key organizations in Boston and throughout New England. He will focus on commitments to expand Gilbane’s diverse contracting partnerships for training and workforce development initiatives as well as cultivate future leaders for Gilbane.
