Gilbane’s presence in Japan spans over 20 years, delivering projects for the US Government and commercial clients alike. Recent projects include healthcare, education, housing, and other military support services construction, as well as rapid response services for critical infrastructure projects.
Building more Community Connections
The Gilbane team supports the Tokyo orphanage, Seibi Children’s Home in Tokyo. The orphanage is in dire need of resources to build appropriate housing for the children. They fear the facility, in its present condition, may not withstand an earthquake. Our team members in Okinawa are proud to be building more than buildings by participating in community and industry organizations. Gilbane provides volunteers for the Okinawa Special Olympics. Active local memberships include the Society of American Military Engineers and the American Chamber of Commerce Okinawa.
